The Clerk is the sole employee of the Council and manages council business, assisting and advising the council in all aspects of local government administration and ensuring compliance with legal and financial obligations. The Clerk is also the council’s Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) managing all aspects of the council’s finances. Applicants should have book-keeping experience, a good working knowledge of Word and Excel and preferably previous local government experience. The successful applicant will be encouraged to obtain the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) if not already obtained.
